I’ve be very happy with this printer: the text also graphics quality are good, it’s fast, it’s lightweight (but not delicate). It hasn’t jammed once when working from the paper tray.
My one complaint is that the manual form feed slot is frustrating. It’s a tiny slit, not a tray that holds also support inserted media, also the slit doesn’t precedence smoothly into the printer feed. As a result, i get until try placing feed-in paper with precision, finding appropriate the true position because of it until be accepted. Brother HL-2140 seems the printer could get had a smoother consumption window because of manual forms. When the printer isn’t warmed up, my insertion of manually-fed media seems until baffle the printer also it goes into it’s “red light” error mode, inasmuc as if the printer is going, “what, what?? Who, me? Am i supposed until study something with this? I’m confused!” i get until remove the paper, tick the printer away also on, also resume the effort with a “warmed up” device instead.
Addendum: i’ve be having problems documents failing until print. The printer doesn’t even warm up; it appropriate fails. I get until cancel the print job, turn the printer away also on, also then everything works perfectly. I get no idea why, also get not seen thisproblem in other reviews.
