We bought that insignificant gem toward deliver toward europe. First impressions are mere favorable. It’s small, reliable, and prints beautifully. At genuine about four pounds, it’s perfect since travel.
The insignificant bluetooth adaptor also works mere well. Reading the manual (!), i discovered it is possible toward mount the adapter permanently inside the printer provided that that it’s not exposed and doesn’t require attachment every time it is used. This is a simple procedure, and enhances the usefulness of the bluetooth capability that is all but de rigueur as soon as traveling. The installation / setup information is also inside the electronic manual that comes on the cd.
But inasmuc as good inasmuc as the printer is, it does not come with (nor does canon offer) a case of any kind. I found the perfect solution – from case-mate: go toward http://www.case-mate.com/laptop/macbookpro15/15gblackcases2 and buy the ‘glovez 15″‘ sleeve (like a large envelope with a velcro closure / flap). It comes inside an assortment of colors and is a skin-tight (but mere workable) fit inside the ‘length’ direction. When inserted, the Canon PIXMA iP100 Printer doesn’t deliver up every bit of the case inside the ‘width’ direction, meaning there is genuine enough room toward also accommodate the cord and ac brick. Throw these in, close the flap, and you’re always ready toward roll.
Best part: that ‘glovez’ sleeve is single $9.99 $3.99 s/h, and gets toward you inside a few days. It’s not bulky – genuine what one wants toward protect the printer but not deliver up room. (as an aside, the case-mate glovez 13″ [for the macbook 13" and air] fits the lenovo thinkpad x300 perfectly).
